പ്രാൎത്ഥനെക്കു നിൎല്ലജ്ജമായ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യം വേണം എന്നതു പാതിരാ
വിൽ അപ്പം ചോദിച്ച ചങ്ങാതിയുടെ ഉപമയാൽ കാട്ടിയതു (ലൂക്കാ. ൧൧,
൫—൮). അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതു തനിക്കല്ല അതിഥിസൽകാരത്തിന്നായിട്ടത്രെ.
മറ്റവൻ മടിക്കുന്നതു കുട്ടികളുടെ സ്വസ്ഥനിദ്രെക്കു ഭംഗം വരരുത് എന്നുവെ
ച്ചിട്ടു തന്നെ. എന്നിട്ടും തോഴന്റെ നിൎല്ലജ്ജയാൽ നല്ലവണ്ണം ഉണൎന്നപ്പോൾ
കൊടുക്കാതെ കണ്ടിരിക്കയില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടു ആവശ്യമുള്ള ഏതു കാലത്തും
ദൈവത്തെ ഉണൎത്തി മുട്ടിച്ചു ചോദിക്ക.
§ 37.

ദേവകരുണയെ അനുഭവിച്ചവരുടെ പ്രതിസ്നേഹം ൨ കടക്കാരുടെ
ഉപമയാൽ വിളങ്ങുന്നു (ലൂക്ക. ൭, ൪൧). അധികം ഇളെച്ചു കിട്ടിയവൻ അധി
കം സ്നേഹിക്കും. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നിൽ സ്നേഹക്രിയകളെ അല്പം മാത്രം ക
ണ്ടാൽ പാപമോചനത്തെ വേണ്ടും പോലെ അന്വേഷിച്ചില്ല വേണ്ടും പോ
ലെ ലഭിച്ചതും ഇല്ല എന്നും, കിട്ടിയ പാപപരിഹാരവും ഏറെ ഫലിച്ചില്ല എ
ന്നും ഉള്ളതു സ്പഷ്ടം. പാപമോചനം മുന്നേ, പ്രതിസ്നേഹം പിന്നെ എന്നാ
കുന്നു കൃപാമാൎഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ സൂക്ഷ്മം. ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്നേഹക്രിയകൾ നി
മിത്തം എനിക്കു പാപമോചനം ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഒരുനാളും വരുന്നില്ല; പാപക്ഷമ
യും ദേവകരുണയും എനിക്കു സാക്ഷാൽ അനുഭവമായി വന്നു എന്നതിന്നു
ഈ സ്നേഹക്രിയകൾ നല്ലൊരു തെളിവാകുന്നു എന്നത്രെ.
