പ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ പുതിയ ഉപദേശം എവിടെനിന്ന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ
കീൎത്തിയെ പരത്തി.

യേശു പള്ളിയിൽനിന്നു ൪ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു കൂടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ശീമോ
ന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു. അവൻ പക്ഷെ വിവാഹം കഴിപ്പാനായി ബെത്ത്
ചൈദയെ വിട്ടു അടുക്കെ ഉള്ള കഫൎന്നഹൂമിൽ കൂടി ഇരുന്നു (അപോസ്തല
നായ ശേഷവും അവൻ ഗൃഹസ്ഥൻ ആയ്പാൎത്തു, ൧കൊ. ൯,൫), ഭാൎയ്യയുടെ
അമമ്മെക്കു പനി ഉള്ളതു കേട്ടാറെ യേശു അവളുടെ കൈയെ പിടിച്ചു ജ്വര
ത്തെ ശാസിച്ചു (ലൂക്ക.), അവൾ എഴുനീറ്റു യേശുവെ സേവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

അസ്തമിച്ചാറെ രോഗികൾ മുതലായ ഊൎക്കാർ എല്ലാം ഭവനത്തെ വള
ഞ്ഞു യേശുവും ഹസ്താൎപ്പണത്താലെ (ലൂക്ക.) എല്ലാവരേയും സ്വസ്ഥമാക്കി,
“നീ ദൈവപുത്രൻ” എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന ഭൂതങ്ങളെ ശാസിച്ചു മിണ്ടാതാക്കി നീ
ക്കിയതിനാൽ, നമ്മുടെ ബലക്ഷയങ്ങളെ അവൻ ഏറ്റു വ്യാധികളെ ചുമന്നു
എന്ന പ്രവാചകത്തെ (യശ. ൫൩, ൪ ƒ.) ഒപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു (മത്ത).

§ 86.

THE FOLLOWING DAY’S MARCH TO NAIN.

നയിനിലേ മഹാ കൎമ്മം.

a) Jesus sought by many, declines to stay. A fresh circuit.

യേശുവെ തടുത്തു നിൎത്തുവാൻ നോക്കിയതും, രണ്ടാം ഘോഷണയാത്രയുടെ ആരംഭവും.

MARK I. 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. 39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

LUKE IV. 42 And when it was day, he depart- ed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them. 43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. 44 And he preached in the syna- gogues of Galilee.

b) The widow’s son at Nain raised.

LUKE VII.

11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. 16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. 17 And this rumour of him went forth through- out all the region round about.
