A petition jointly presented by Varalil Kannan and
Chandrota Kelloo inhabitants of the Nettoora
Desham in the Talook of Cottayam to the
Collector of Malabar.
The land called Kaitéri Pátam and it's southern Paramba
the property of (Kelloo) the 2nd. Petitioner's Tarwad having
been sold by him to the 1st. Petitioner Cannan with the con-
sent of his family for it's full value on the 22nd. Kanny 1024,
we request that you will direct the registry of the said land and
Paramba to be transferred from the name of the 2nd. Petitioner to
that of the 1st. Petitioner Cannan, and that the revenue demand
thereon may be received from him (the 2nd. Petitioner) in future.

Talook. ഹൎജിക്കാരൻ a Petitioner, s. m. തറവാട an undivided Mala-
bar family, s. n. ജന്മമായിരിക്കുന്നു to be possessed on fee-simple
tenure. തറവാട്ട ജന്മമായിരിക്കുന്നു the jenm right (i. e. the proprietary
right) of which belonged to the Tarwad. നിലം a strip of Paddy land,
s. n. തെക്ക south, southern, adj. പറമ്പ all high dry ground : thence
a garden which is generally on the high ground above the paddy land.
പിടിപ്പത വില the proper value, the value that a thing should fetch.
കുഡുംബം a family property so called. s. n. നികുതിജമ the registry
of assessed lands, s. n. നികുതി the land tax, s. n.
