ല്ലങ്ങളിൽ സൎക്കാരിൽനിന്ന പൈമാശി ചെയ്തപ്പൊൾ ചില
സൎക്കാര കാൎയ്യസ്ഥന്മാരെ രാമന്മെനൊൻ സ്വാധീനമാക്കി അ
വരുടെ സഹായത്താൽ ആ വകകൾ ജമയിൽ ചെൎത്തിട്ടില്ലെ
ന്നും ഇനിക്ക വൎത്തമാനം കിട്ടുകകൊണ്ട ആയ്തിന്റെ നെരറി
യെണമെന്ന വിചാരിച്ച ഞാനും ൟ അംശം മുഖ്യസ്ഥന്മാരും
കൂടി മെൽ എഴുതിയ നിലങ്ങൾ ൟ മാസം ൧൧൹ അളന്ന
നൊക്കുകയും ൟ നിലങ്ങൾക്ക സമീപം കൃഷിക്കാരായ ഏതാ
നും കുടിയാന്മാരൊട വാക്കാലെ അന്വെഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത
തിൽ സൎക്കാര ജമയിൽ ചെരാത്ത ൩൩ ൏ക്കുള്ള ൩ നിലങ്ങൾ
ഏറിയ കൊല്ലമായിട്ട മെൽ എഴുതിയ രാമന്മെനൊൻ നികുതി
കൊടുക്കാതെ അനുഭവിച്ച വരുന്ന പ്രകാരം കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു
ൟ കാൎയ്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഏതുപ്രകാരം നടക്കെണ്ടു എന്ന കല്പ
ന ഉണ്ടാവാനപെക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. കൊല്ലം ൧൦൨൩ാമത ധനുമാ

of Kollengode Amsham to the Tahseeldar

Having been informed that Chakoongal Ráman Menon an
inhabitant of Vadavanoor Desham attached to my Amsham
has been enjoying for several years past certain lands which
are not included in the revenue assessment without paying
revenue to Government, and that owing to the connivance of
certain public servants who had been gained over by Ráman
Menon, the lands in question were omitted from the public
accounts in the years 984 and 1004 / 1808–809 1828–29 on the occasion of the
Government assessment being made; With a view to ascertain
the truth of this information, I inspected and measured the
