തായ നിലങ്ങൾ താൻ നടക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നും കൊല്ലംതൊറും താൻ
എള്ള വിത്ത വിതെച്ച വന്നിരുന്ന ൩ പറമ്പുകളുടെ ഗുണം
അറിവാൻ വെണ്ടി ൟ കൊല്ലം മാത്രം ആയ്തുകളിൽ നെല്ല വി
തെച്ചതല്ലാതെ ഇതിന്ന മുമ്പെ ഒരിക്കലും വിതെച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും
തന്റെ റിപ്പൊൎട്ട നെരല്ലെന്നും മെൽ എഴുതിയ രാമന്മെനൊൻ
൧൧൹ എഴുതിയ ഹൎജിയും വായിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
ൟ കാൎയ്യത്തിൽ വെണ്ടുന്ന അന്വെഷണങ്ങളും വിസ്താര
ങ്ങളും ചെയ്വാനായി ൟ താലൂക്ക ശിരസ്ഥെദാരെ കല്പനയൊട
കൂടി ആയംശത്തിലെക്ക അയച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ട അദ്ദെഹത്തി
ന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം താൻ നടന്ന കൊൾകയും വെണം എ
ന്ന കൊല്ലം ൧൦൨൩ാമത ധനുമാസം ൧൫൹ എഴുതിയത.

The order issued by the Tahseeldar of Tenmalapooram
to Shámoo Puttar Adhikari of Kollangode Amsham.
I have received your Urzee of the 10th Instant having refer-
ence to the circumstance that Chakoongal Ráman Menon has
enjoyed for several years past certain lands not included in the
assessment, without paying revenue to Government.
I have also received an Urzee written by the abovementioned
Ráman Menon denying that he enjoys any lands not included
in the assessment accounts, and stating that in order to ascer-
tain the quality of those Parambas in which gingely crops have
hitherto been sown every year, he has this year sown them
with paddy, but not on a former occasion, and that therefore
the report made by you is incorrect.
The Serishtadar of this Talook having been deputed to the
Amsham under your charge to institute the necessary enquiry
into the matter, you will be pleased to act as that officer may
direct.
