On my way to Peroovamba Amsham upon duty on the 25th.
November last one Krishna verbally reported to me that on
the previous Monday evening about ten o clock about 10 or 15
robbers came to his house; that three of them seized his nephew,
who was lying down on the Western Pial of the house; that he
hearing the alarm raised by his nephew went outside to see
what was the matter, upon which one of the robbers seized him
by the throat and directed him to bring money; that at this
juncture the neighbours aroused by the noise came to the spot
upon which the robbers ran away without entering the house or
plundering the property; that it was one Chátoo who seized him
by the throat; and that he suspected P. Ráman, C. Chengaran
and V. Kelloo to have been among the robbers. I thereupon
