ശെഷം after that. രണ്ടാം second ordinal. പൈതലിനെ boy, acc.
sing. of പൈതൽ a boy s. m. നന്നായി well, adv. ശിക്ഷകഴിച്ചു
punished. ശിക്ഷ punishment and കഴിച്ചു past tense იf കഴിക്കുന്നു to
perform, v. a. ദുൎമ്മാൎഗ്ഗികൾ wicked people, nom. plu. of ദുൎമ്മാൎഗ്ഗി a
wickedman, s. m. സഹവാസം association, s. n. ചെയ്യരുത should
not make. ചെയ്യ root of ചെയ്യുന്നു to make and അരുത prohibitive

ഒരുവൻ ഒരു തെൾ തീയിൽ വീഴുവാൻ പൊകുന്നത കണ്ട
അതിനെ രക്ഷിച്ചാൽ പുണ്യം ഉണ്ടെന്ന കരുതി വീഴിക്കാതെ
അതിനെ രക്ഷിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ആ തെൾ അവൻ ചെയ്ത ഉപ
കാരത്തെ വിചാരിക്കാതെ അവന്റെ കയ്യിന്മെൽ കുത്തി വള
രെ വെദന ഉണ്ടാക്കി. അതുകൊണ്ട നാം ദുൎമ്മാൎഗ്ഗികൾക്ക ഉപ
കാരം ചെയ്യുമ്പൊൾ സൂക്ഷിക്കണം.
6th. STORY.
A certain person saw a scorpion falling into the fire, and
thinking that it would be a charity to preserve it, he saved it
from falling; but the scorpion unmindful of his kindness, stung
his hand, and caused him great pain. Therefore, we should be
careful how we confer favours on the wicked.
