അയൊദ്ധ്യാ the Capital of Rama, or modern Oude, പൂന്തൊട്ടം

ണ്ടാക്കിച്ച having caused to be made, past verbal part. of ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കു
ന്നു to cause to make, causal form of ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു to make. ഒഴിച്ചിൽ
leisure. s. n. ഉല്ലാസിക്കുന്നു to be amused, v. n. മകൻ a son, s. m.
ദിവസവും daily, adv. compd. of ദിവസം a day and the conjunc-
tion ഉം which gives to it the signification of “daily.” മൊഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു
to steal, v. a. കുറവാകുന്നു to become less, compd. of കുറവ diminution
and ആകുന്നു to become. കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു to watch, guard, v. a. ഉ
ണ്ണി a child, s. മെനാവ a palanqueen, s. n. കൊവിലകം a Rajah’s
palace, s. n. വാതുക്കൽ at the door, adv. അദ്ദെഹം that person,
compd. of ആ that and ദെഹം a body. അങ്ങെ your, pron. infl. case
of അങ്ങ you, honorific form of addressing a superior personage. തിരു
മനസ്സ lit. the will of God, of a King, an honorific form of speaking of
a King. വക belonging to, adj. അങ്ങുന്ന Master, Lord. വിടുവി
ക്കെണ്ടയൊ can you not cause to be released? compd. of വിടുവിക്ക
the root of വിടുവിക്കുന്നു to cause to be released and വെണ്ടാ you
must not, with the interrogative particle ഒ. ഇത ഒന്നും ഇല്ല it is of no
consequence. വായ the mouth, s. n. പറഞ്ഞ നില്ക്കും he will speak and
live, lit. having spoken, will stand or remain, compd. of പറഞ്ഞ having
spoken and നില്ക്കുന്നു to stand. ഊറ്റമായി loudly, strongly, from ഊ
റ്റം strength. ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു to understand, v. a. തിന്നുകളയുന്നു to
eat off, to eat entirely, compd. of തിന്നുന്നു to eat, and കളയുന്നു to
throw used here as a verb of intensity, vide Grammar para. 229. കട്ട
having stolen, past vebal part. of കക്കുന്നു to steal, v. a. തിരുമെനി
