4th. Of കഴിവു. When connected with a sentence that implies neces-
sity the governing noun must be in the dative; in other cases the nomi-
native is required; as,
ഇനിക്ക ഉറങ്ങിയെ കഴിവു. I must sleep.
ഇനിക്ക കുളിച്ചെ കഴിവു. I must bathe.
ഞാൻ കൂടെ അവിടെ ചെന്നെ കഴിവു.
I also must, or ought to, go thither.
5th. Of ആവു.
കാൎയ്യക്കാരൻ അഞ്ച രൂപായെ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യി
ക്കാവു.

അവൻ അവിടെ ചെന്നെ നീ ചെല്ലാവു.
