ഉദാഹരണങ്ങൾ.

I think this lady to be exceedingly prudent. You
cannot expect me to get up at such an early hour. His
parents wanted him to study medicine, but his other rela—
tions wished him to study the law. All people believe
him to be a gambler.

Do you believe this gentleman to be honest? Yes,
Sir, I believe him to be perfectly honest. I have trans—
acted much business with him, and have never found him
to be otherwise. My parents desired me to write to them
every fortnight, but they cannot expect me to write so
often. My uncle wishes me to spend the midsummer
holidays with him in the country, but my parents want
me to come home. I admit him to be perfectly honest and
upright, but at the same time I must declare him to be
rather miserly. Do you mot think him to be a man who
would rather lose his life, than forfeit his honour? I re—
member this gentleman having sold walking—sticks in the
street, and now he has the largest house of business in the
whole town. I imagined him to be exceedingly handsome;
but he has no occasion to be proud of his beauty. My
friend requested me to settle the affair for him, he having
too many other things to attend to. How long do you
expect me to wait here for you? I do not wish you to
wait at all. The boys were not permitted to leave the
house after dark.
