their swords, sabers and muskets glitter in the sun-shine!
Now they are going to shoot. They have been shooting
several times. There they are shooting again. They were
also shooting, when we arrived. This afternoon they are
going to exercise again; then they will shoot with cannons
(guns). Now the trumpeter is blowing; I believe they
are going to march home. The soldiers waste much gun-
powder and many balls. Now the drummers begin, and
off they march. Let us go along with them. I like to hear
the music. We shall presently pass the guard-house.

സേനാപുരി തന്നെ. എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ
രണ്ടു പേർ പടയാളികൾ ആകുന്നു. ഈ നഗരത്തി
ന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേൽ അനേകം പീരങ്കിതോക്കു
കളും നഗരത്തിനകത്തു വളരെ സേനാപുരകളും ഉ
ണ്ടു. പടയാളികൾ സേനാപുരകളിൽ പാൎക്കുന്നുണ്ടു.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ നഗരത്തിൽ ഒരു സേനാപതിയേയുള്ളൂ,
