1871-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ഗുണ്ടർട്ട് നിഘണ്ടു ഡിജിറ്റൈസ് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ശ്രമം ആണിത്. ഈ നിഘണ്ടു വളരെ ബൃഹത്തായതിനാൽ ഇത് വിവിധ ഘട്ടങ്ങളായി ചെയ്യാനാണു് ഉദ്ദേശം. ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യഘട്ടമെന്ന നിലയിൽ ആദ്യ ഭാഗം (Part I) സ്വരാക്ഷരങ്ങളിൽ തുടങ്ങുന്ന വാക്കുകൾ ഒക്കെ ഡിജിറ്റൈസ് ചെയ്യുക ആണു് ഉദ്ദേശം.
ഇതു പൂർത്തിയാവുമ്പോൾ മലയാളം വിക്കിഗ്രന്ഥശാലയ്ക്ക് മാത്രമല്ല, മലയാളം വിക്കിനിഘണ്ടു, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിക്കിസൊർസ്, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിക്ക്ഷണറി ഇതിനൊക്കെ ഇത് ഉപകാരപ്പെടും.
പക്ഷെ നിലവിൽ മലയാളം വിക്കിഗ്രന്ഥശാലയിൽ ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട എക്സ്റ്റെഷൻ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തതിൽ സംഗതി ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിക്കിഗ്രന്ഥശാലയിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ താല്പര്യപ്പെടുന്നു. അവിടെ ഇത് ചെയ്ത് അവിടുത്തെ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെ മനസ്സിലാക്കുക. ആദ്യഭാഗം തീരുമ്പൊഴേക്ക് ഇതു് എങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യണം, അവിടുള്ള എന്തൊക്കെ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് ഇവിടെ വേണം എന്ന് ഏകദേശ ധാരണ ആകും. പിന്നെ എളുപ്പം ആയല്ലോ.

ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യങ്ങൾ തിരുത്തുക
- താഴെയുള്ള കണ്ണികളിൽ ഞെക്കുമ്പോൾ തുറക്കുന്ന താളിന്റെ വലത് വശത്ത് നമ്മൾ ചെയ്യാൻ പോകുന്ന താളിന്റെ ചിത്രം കാണാം. ആ ചിത്രം നോക്കി ഇടത് വശത്തുള്ള എഡിറ്റ് വിൻഡോയിൽ മലയാളം ടെസ്റ്റ് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യേണ്ട കാര്യം മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ടെസ്റ്റൊക്കെ മിക്കവാറും ആ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ തന്നെ ചേർത്തിട്ടുണ്ടാകും. അതൊന്ന് സംശോദിച്ചാൽ മാത്രം മതി.
